Yay! Germany’s Burger King branches now accept Bitcoin payments!
A global fast-food chain Burger King now accept Bitcoin payments on its delivery website and mobile app in Germany.
Previously Spanish Hotels made this phenomenon mainstream by willing to accept Bitcoin payments during check-in.
According to the company’s official website information, since it’s launch in 1954, Burger King now operates in more than 11000 locations globally and serves more than 11 million users daily in 98 countries worldwide.
Burger King has more than 600 outlets in Germany, but it’s not clear yet, whether the fast-food restaurant chains will accept Bitcoin payments in-store or it will be implemented exclusively for online orders.
Customers in Germany have already noticed that the company’s mobile app now integrates cryptocurrency payment methods and further includes Bitcoin as a payment option also, apart from other payment methods such as VISA card and PayPal.
